Gap Camp is a two week (12 days) of fun, Jewish summer camp experience with emphasis on creating kehillah.
From August 19-30 our campers will start their day with song-full tefillah, and participate in a variety of games and special camp activities, and art, all rooted in Jewish values and joyous learning.
Kosher lunch and 2 snacks will be provided. (for allergies or other dietary restrictions, please reach out to Beata at or Allie at )
We will be offering early and aftercare options (8am-9am early; 3pm-5pm after), partial-week options, as well as sibling discounts and scholarships for Shul School families, MJDS families, and CBINT members.
Here is a sample schedule:
(Schedule coming soon)
Chugim choices may include, but are not limited to: sports, friendship bracelet making and hair wraps, interactive games (this will be a different game each day), board games.
The hour of dedicated Jewish learning will not be traditional classroom-style lessons, but rather interactive and immersive activities that are engaging and exciting for our campers. An example of something we may do for this time is a Hebrew nature scavenger hunt, which will engage campers with the Hebrew language in their real, tangible, world, as well as the value of caring for the Earth (tikkun olam).
